The client’s initial consultation is always free.

    After that my standard rate is $130 an hour plus expenses. I bill in six minute intervals, and do not charge for time I spend researching things a more experienced attorney in the field would know, if I spend twelve hours to do twelve minutes worth of work the client is billed for the latter. I’m open to negotiating maximum fees on many matters.

 

    For my fellow Reed College alumni, as well as students, faculty, and staff I’m currently offering a discount rate of $65 an hour plus expenses.
